“I met Ambika ma’am at a very crucial time of my life. I reached out to her for help regarding my mental illness. She was extremely friendly and patient with me which made me feel very comfortable. Every session with her opened up brighter avenues for me to lead a happy life. Most importantly, she has always been available even through calls whenever I needed to speak to her when I was low.”

“I’ve known Ambika Ma’am for quite a few months now. She has a very practical approach to psychology and doesn’t hesitate to share techniques and theories in order to make someone understand the crux. Her charisma is contagious and you’d want to keep talking to her on and on. There’s a sense of warmth that makes the conversation lively and motivating. The balance between the hard truth and soft truth is beautifully put forth making us ponder and expand our thought processes.
She is a true motivator and an amazing guide. I feel blessed to have met her. Thank you for bringing my originality back”
“Ambika has been counselling our son Satish who was diagnosed with mild autism. Her therapy sessions are well constructed and devised to treat behavioural problems that my son undergoes on a daily basis. One-to-one interaction with him is not only a therapy session but also highly educative as she employs creative therapy and interventions to stimulate his cognitive abilities. Moreover, her sessions are a learning experience for him and he often says the are fun. Overall Ambika is a go-to professional for Satish’s development and well-being.”
“I was a mess when i met Ambika ma’am. I had lots of complications, inhibitions and loads of second thoughts. But the way she handled me and the whole problem was marvelous. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease and slowly i started opening upto her without feeling forced. She made me see things clearly and rationally which in turn helped me in acting accordingly. This relieved me of a lot of stress and anxiety within a couple of sessions. She is amazing.”
She’s fierce, she’s authentic, she’s someone who you’ll never get tired of interacting with!

“Mrs.Ambika has a very friendly approach that mostly felt like I was chatting with a friend during the sessions. She always found subtle ways to point out the truth. One major quality I liked about her was that, she never once labelled me with any Psychological terms or issues. I used to eagerly wait for the sessions. She always gives priority to exercises or activities over medicines. If you are looking for therapy or counselling, you can trust her to take you on the right path. She is very passionate and true to her profession. She is always there when you need help.”
The internship under Mrs.Ambika mam was very good and I have gained knowledge through this internship. Ambika mam was very good n kind, instead of a teacher, I have seen her as my mentor. She not only gave us education but she taught us about life experience. I have seen changes in myself through this internship and I got more exposure too.

I had a great experience in doing internship at Cittashukra with Ms.Ambika. The internship offers hands on experience to gain practice; starting from how to be a good counsellor, ethics, building skills, techniques and focus on how to set up a private clinic. The facilitator helps and supports the students throughout the internship and also give constructive feedback.
The internship offered practical counselling sessions as a opportunity to learn and apply. It also offered an opportunity to work in De-addiction centre where the interns got experience in dealing with the patients, take in / one on one counselling sessions and conducting activities and taking classes related to addiction and drug dependence.

I had the opportunity to complete my internship at Cittashukra under the guidance of Ms. Ambika, a skilled counselling psychologist. She provided us with hands-on training in counselling practice, along with consistent supervision and constructive feedback. This enabled each intern to reflect on their areas of improvement and enhance their counselling skills. Regular case discussions, role plays, real life case handling helped in understanding the process of counselling and the importance of counsellor’s skills. The internship also offered real-time exposure in the field of de-addiction, giving us the chance to work with a diverse range of clients. It provided valuable insights into counselling within the Indian context, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
